KippPunkt (German for "Tipping Point") is an exercise in radical reduction. This folding stool is constructed from just three components: two standard wooden roof battens and a safety belt, held together solely by heavy-duty snap fasteners.
The design challenges the user to abandon passive posture. To stay upright, one must constantly maintain balance, preventing the stool from tipping over. This reliance on the user's body transforms the stool into a tool for active and conscious sitting.
